This summer is making me lose track of time and skip posts.  Sorry.  Here is the completed shawlette.  It'not a hard pattern at all it's just that you have to look at every row. The lateral braid and the beaded bind off were new to me.  The beads are really pretty.  It did turn out small and I will have a picture at the end of my daughter wearing it.  I think I may make one again, at a much later date, in a larger yarn.

I stated working on another sleep sack for charity knitting but my elbow and wrist felt weird so I took some time off.  As far as other things go, I caught up of Running Man and watched some kdrama. I didn't realize I was so far behind in Running Man.  I decided that Kim Jong Kook is only stronger and that Gary is actually more athletic.  I also found out that the site I usually watch running man has a reputation for infecting people with malware so I need to find a new site.  The kdrama I've been watching is called High School King of Savvy.   It's about a high school student who has to pretend to be his business man brother and of course hijinks ensue.  Today I think I'll play WOW and rest my arm.

Outside of going to the library we haven't done anything.  I have a project planned for today and Monday is going to be crazy.  Amey has to be somewhere at 12:00 then Mookey has to be some where else at 1:30 then Amey has to be picked up at 2:30 and Mooky at 3:30.  Luckely my husband will be home so he can just drop me and Mooky off and deal with Amey.  I'm glad it's the only day like that.  I think that's it.  If I think of something else I'll write it next time.  I'll see you then.

We went to the John Deere Pavilion today (I realized I have been spelling Deere wrong). That is the entire building from the view of the combine.  It's full of various John Deere products and many of them you can climb in and pretend to drive.  There is a little children's area, some displays of the history of the company and a place where you can simulate operating some machines.  It's not big but the kids had fun climbing in the tractors, we spent a little over an hour there. There is also a letter box there as well.  I didn't do anything interesting yesterday we were just all tired.

I finished the shawl.  It's nice but really small.  If I ever make it again I think I will use bigger yarn like a sport or dk weight. I'll put up a picture after the pattern gets released.  I finally got the red shawl all backed out and am going forward again.  Since I skipped two charity knitting days I plan to do that but when I went to get the yarn it was all tangled so that is my first task. I want to get the red shawl off the needles since it is so close then work on the cupcake that will of course be late like all my other presents. The other two things I need to get done is the Trillian and the Totoros. Of course there is always spinning in July for Tour de Fleece (Tour de France)

I don't think I have anything else to say or show you.  I have been listening to a lot of podcasts because I couldn't read subtitles wile working on the blue shawl.  Now that it's done I can go back to watching kdrama.  Up coming plans are the library, making something interesting and maybe going to a arcade type place.  See you next time.

Here is the beaded edge so far.  From far away the colors all look the same but really there are two blues a clear, a frosted and a gray.  It looks nice but it is taking forever. There are supposed to be around 500 stitches and so far I have done 210 beads so I am almost half way done.  It's really hard because I can't take it with me when I'm waiting in the car or something.  I was planning on using a crochet hook to put the beads on but my hooks are just a touch too big.  I'm using dental floss but mine is flat so it's a bit weird.  I really wanted to get this done faster but it is what it is.  I'm hoping I can finish the beading tomorrow so I can block it.

On Saturday I wanted to play WOW but my husband hadn't payed it so I listened to podcasts.  I played a little WOW on Sunday but to do the beading I really can't do that so I listened to more podcasts.  I'm listing to them again today because I can't read subtitles and bead at the same time.  If I finish the beading I'll watch some kdrama.

We went to the park on Saturday but the kids didn't really like it.  The park we went to was one that kids have wanted to go to since they saw it.  It has a really cool viking ship in it but when we got there we realized that it was made for smaller children (like 3 year old children)  We'll try a different park next time.  The fun thing we did today was. Letterboxing.  The concept is similar to geocaching but it involves rubber stamps.  You can look up on a website called Atlas Quest (in the U.S.) and find out where the stamps are hidden. You follow clues to find a hidden box with a stamp and a notebook in it. You take your stamp and stamp it in the book and use the stamp that is there to stamp your book.  My daughter and I had done it once about four years ago and now that Mooky is bigger I thought he could do it too.  He complained that it wasn't fun but I think he did have fun.  I'm going to try an look for another box later this summer.  The one we found today was on the last page and when I posted that I got a note from the lady that left the box that she will get a new book for it. I am using a sheep stamp, Amey is using a monkey stamp with a bow in its hair and Mooky is using a quilted pumpkin for his.  I'm going to try to remember to take our supplies with us when we go somewhere on vacation or something.

I think that's about it for me.  Upcoming plans are going to the John Dee museum and going back to the library and the botanical center (we haven't killed the plants we bought last time yet). I'll see you next time.

This isn't the greatest picture but these were the beads I chose.  They didn't have the selection I was expecting.  Most of it was bead mixes and only a few in single colors.  I thought that this could look like sea glass.  I'm thinking about using the beads randomly with the only rule that you can't have two of the same bead next together.  I may change my mind but that's what I'm thinking right now.  I finished the lateral braid and I think I got the hang of it now if it shows up in any other patterns.  The next part is the ruffle and the first step in that is to double the number of stitches.  I did that then on the return row, right near the end, I found a weird stretched out, loopy stitch thing so I had to"tink" back... about 900 stitches.  Grrrr.  I really need to get this done because the beaded bind off will take a wile.

I really haven't been doing much.  I am still looking at the Craftsy but not much else.  My son and I went to the pool (the high school lets the public use the pool over the summer for a small fee).  We had fun till a little kid threw up in the pool.  Our future plans are Letter Boxing, going to a John Deer museum and back to the library.  With all this running around I may be losing a little weight.

Last week the kids had vacation Bible school at the church.  The theme was weird animals and so on the last day they had someone bring in some animals for the children to pet (like a petting zoo but much smaller).  One of the animals as an alpaca (yeah alpaca!) and almost everyone called it a llama.  I was trying to figure this out and I finally did... Dora the Explorer.  Almost every child under the age of fifteen has seen Dora or Diego (most likely both).  Dora sometimes has a llama on the show and it is not drawn proportionately.  It makes the llama look slightly taller that a child which is the height of an alpaca as llamas are actually much taller.  I don't know why I have to figure out these inconsequential things but some how I feel better when I do.  That's it for my randomness, See you next time.

Can you see the lateral braid?  It's a bit tricky at first and it's going to take forever since you need to do two stitches for every one.  It's not hard but I had to rip it out a couple of times because I didn't know how to pick it up again when my needle slipped. There are picture instructions in the pattern but I watched a YouTube video. I think I'm getting the hang of it now and it should go smoother.  All I have after that is the ruffle and the beaded bind off.

I really didn't do to much yesterday.  I finished my book, helped my son make a draw string bag and watched some of a Craftsy class.  Such an exciting life I lead.  I'm hoping to finish the blue shawl this coming week so then maybe I can make a bunch of other things.  Things planned so far are swimming, the park and Letter boxing (I'll explain more about that if we go).   I think that's it for now.  It's a tiny post.  I'll see you next time.

Today I had my son sew for the first time.  We used this tutorial to make the bag out of a fat quarter.  I used my my I-cord maker to make the drawstring.  He did pretty well.  He only did it because I made him but if he didn't at lest try how would he know of he liked it. We didn't measure or iron because I didn't want to complicate things for him.  The first thing my daughter made was a pillow with penguin fabric for her kindergarten teacher for Christmas.

Yesterday for knitting I worked on the blue shawl.  I'm up to the lateral braid which is something I have never done before.  It doesn't look hard just a bit fiddly.  When we went to the library I got Blameless, the next book in the "Parasol Protectorate" series, so I spent yesterday reading that.  I'm almost done.  I also looked at some free classes on Craftsy.  It's an online site where you can take classes on many subjects from knitting to photography to cooking, just to name a few.  Most of the classes you have to pay for ($20-$60 or so) but there are a few free ones.  I haven't had the cash to pay for a class yet but I want to do that some day.

The cookies that didn't turn out well were yesterday's only adventures.  I did get a view from Lithuania, that's exciting.  It's a bit rainy but nothing else is going on.  I wish I had more knitting to show you but the blue shawl is almost done so that will help.  The red shawl is almost done too and I need to start on my niece's cupcake.  I have so many plans, hopefully I can get them done soon.  See you next time.

I had to post some picture or other.  These are some of the cookies that my son and I tried to make.  They turned out o.k. but my oven was acting weird.  Usually if there is a suggested temperature range I have to use the longest time and sometimes give it an extra minute or two.  The cookies said 9-11 minutes so I put them in for 10 and even rotated them and they still burned. I think it might have been because I didn't add nuts but that didn't dawn on me till later.  Now that I know that I'll have to try again at a later time.

O.k. so lets go back to Saturday.  I listened to podcasts and worked on the blue shawl.  I caught up on all of them and even listened to a couple of Knit 1 Heart Too episodes.  I was proud of Steve (Dramatic Knits) that he is going to vend at Vogue Live Chicago and that they approached him.  That's impressive.  I wish I could go but I'm not going to be able to. On Sunday I took the red shawl to church because it's mindless and discovered a hole.  At some point I missed a kit stitch then on the next pass worked the knit stitch and the loose yarn that turned into a yarn over.  I tried to drop down and fix it but I have to rip it back down.  I did watch kdrama and finished That Winter... and started on My Love From Another Star.  Yesterday I really did nothing so I don't know why I didn't post.  I think with the kids and my husband home I got distracted.  (That and I have nothing to show you)  I am getting to the end of the blue shawl and need to buy some beads for the beaded bind off.  I'm not sure what color but I'll have to see what's available when I go.

That Winter, The Wind Blows was interesting and different. Oh Soo is a (really good) gambler that really doesn't care about his life at all.  He and his friend Jin Sung run around gambling and getting in fights.  Oddly his house keeper and cook is also named Oh Soo.  Friend Oh Soo (to borrow the term from Dramabeans) lives in a dumpy apartment and dreams of opening an Italian restaurant.  He uses main character Oh Soo's swanky address to write letters to his sister who he has been estranged from since his parents divorce.  He also claims to be the only heir to an important company but no one believes him.  We see that friend Oh Soo's sister is blind and has not received  the letters that he has been sending.  She gets a hold of one and has a cab driver take her to our Oh Soo's apartment since that is the one on the envelope.  She runs into our Oh Soo and he reads her brother's letter to her but must make a quick get away as his gambling has caught up with him.  As he is running friend Oh Soo runs after him to find out what the problem is and gets hit by a car and dies.  It is a bit of art and irony that friend Oh Soo is dying in the street as his sister comes up to the cub frantically trying to hail a cab but because she can't see she had no idea.  It turns out our Oh Soo's phyco girlfriend has stolen a lot of money from her gangster boss and framed Oh Soo because in her twisted mind if he is in jail for a year wile she is in the U.S. filming he can't cheat on her.  Oh Soo serves his year and finds himself black balled from all his former haunts.  He also has a run in with my favorite character Moo Chul.  Moo Chul is a bad guy who has been sent by the gangster boss to get the money back but has a past with Oh Soo.  There is now a deadline of 100 day to pay back the money or Moo Chul will kill Oh Soo.  In a desperate moment, where Oh Soo is trying to figure out how to get the money and live, a lawyer come looking for dead friend Oh Soo and our Oh Soo has a brilliant idea. His plan is that he will pass himself off as his dead friend and scam the rich family out of the money so he won't be killed.  So he goes about trying to prove this to every one in the family which is full of shady characters.  He has some hints of things from friend Oh Soo's possessions and he also finds a secret room full of memories from Oh Young (friend Oh Sos's sister) so he can piece things together.  He starts out trying to run a scam but ends up slowly falling in love with Oh Young which complicates things since he is pretending to be her brother.  Of course it's a drama so it ends well but it has ups and downs with gangster boss and Moo Chul after him and everyone threatening to spill his secret including his phyco ex-girlfriend and there are even secrets in the family.

The show has a dream like quality especially in the last episode.  There is a lot of art in it were the people look like they are blending into the wall paper with the colors they are wearing for example.  I liked it in general but it is a little weird with the kind of almost incest thing going on.  Apparently it is based on a Japanese story and there are many remakes of it.  I think the dramabeans recaps were a little harsh, there are things you just have to overlook when you are watching dramas.  My Love From Another Star is very different and I'll talk about that in a different post.

The pictures from my sister's wedding have come out and it made me feel kind of depressed.  I know I'm big but seeing it in pictures hurts.  I was kind of down yesterday because of it.  I'm feeling better now but it brings to my attention that I have more work to do.  We are doing pretty well getting things done with the kids and some of the things we are planning this week are sewing, going swimming and going to the park.  I guess that's it for now.  I'll try and remember to write tomorrow.  See you then.

Sorry no picture today.  It feels weird.  I'll have to go outside today and take a picture of something just to have extra picture.  It's not that I don't have any pictures, it's just that they aren't relevant.  It is knit in public day and I probably won't.  I knit (or crochet) it every waiting room and doctor's office I go to.  I knit it the car (if I'm not driving) and at church and weddings.  I think I have the knitting in public thing covered.  As far as knitting goes I'm still working on the blue test knit (row 85).  Till that's done I'm not working on anything else.  I probably won't do any charity knitting on Sunday because I don't have any free cables for my needles.  When I finally get some needles free I'll probably have a charity knitting day in the middle of the week.  I still need to get things mailed to PRR.

Yesterday our big adventure was grocery shopping.  Not much of an adventure from the kids point of view but it had to get done and it takes so much time.  I did get a little play time on WOW.  We may make cookies today and since it's so nice I'm going to force my son outside for a little wile.  He doesn't really like outside.  Maybe I can get him to practice on his bicycle.

I think that's about it.  I don't have anything exciting going on but maybe that's a good thing.  Hopefully I'll have something a little more fun next time.  See you then.

I couldn't find anything new to show you so I found this, I don't think I've show it before. It's jewelry I made a wile ago and wore to my sister's wedding though the earring lost one of their beads so it was all black.  It's made by crocheting wire and placing a bead on every stitch.  You make three strips then braid them together.  I love how bright and red the wire is.  I'm still working on the blue shawl (I'm on row 71) but I don't feel comfortable showing it so I may have some posts without pictures.  I did also get two rows done on the red shawl but that's it.

We didn't do anything fun yesterday because my son had an appointment. I took the red shawl because I needed mindless knitting, that's how I got two rows done on it. There is a blog called My Korean Husband that I caught up on.  I didn't realize I was so far behind so it took a wile.  It's a woman from Australia who married a Korean (hence the name of the blog) and right now they are living in the Korean countryside.  She draws little cartoons of their experiences and will soon be putting out a book.  It makes an iteresting contrast to "Eat Your Kimchi."

That's all I did yesterday.  Such and exciting life, right?  I guess that's it, see you next time.

Thursday, June 12, 2014

This is supposed to be a snug sack.  I never used one when I had kids but they seem really popular right now.  The concept, as far as I understand it, is basically a blanket the the baby can't kick off because it's around them. I made it for PRR but I'm not sure when I can send it.  I based it off the divine hat and was trying to use up yarn.  I'm still working on the shawl but the problem is that it's not a mindless knit.  It's not a hard knit but every line is different so you really have to concentrate.

We didn't do anything fun during the day yesterday but after lunch my daughter went to a program at her new middle school and we went to the SCA at night.  Amey will go to this program for two hours every day week day till the end of June.  They will also go on field trips to places like the roller skating rink.  Next week Mooky and I will just go do fun things on our own.  The SCA was o.k. but a little lonely.  I sat by Mooky to keep him out of trouble but it was away from everyone else so I had no one to talk to. My husband got to fight and he hasn't done that in about a year.  He forgot to take the keys out of his pocket and has a weird bruise now.  He's sore but he's happy to be active again.

I think that's it.  I think my life won't be very exciting for a wile and I'm not getting much knitting done.  I'm sure it will pick up when we get into the groove of summer vacation. Upcoming things that we are planning for next week are: swimming, the park and making cookies (not necessarily in that order).  I'll talk to you next time.

Wednesday, June 11, 2014

I found something to post a picture of.  This was the blanket that I made that was too little for PRR.  It is really small.  I was only working on it once a week so one week I thought "I'm almost half way" and by the next week my brain remembered the "half way" but not the "almost."  It's still a cool blanket and I'll donate it somewhere else.

We went to the library yesterday.  I was kind of irritated at them.  I had some very overdue books and I knew that but I assumed there was a per book cap on fines and what they wanted was three to four times what I was expecting.  It wasn't really their fault and I know that it was just an unpleasant surprise.  We signed up for the summer reading program (kids get prizes for how many minutes they read, which is why my kids were bribed into reading yesterday).  My daughter is still classified as being in the children's section but she was in the young adult section and saw a game that you can enter to win prizes. She asked me if she could enter it and I told her to ask the librarian.  They said no because it was for kids who were classified as young adult.   She and I were fine with the rules but later when I approaching the computer too look up a book (is it still called a card catalog?) the librarian called out across the room (I was kind of walking toward her), "you can't redeem minutes till next week."  I said, "I know, she just wanted to know if she could play the game."   She said, "It's for older kids."  I said, "I know, that's fine." I was just kind of irritated because I wasn't questioning her and she was interrupting what I was doing. That sounds petty but it's hard to explain.  It makes me not want to go back.  I was already planing to go to a different one next time (around here they are all connected).

I played WOW and my little girls (all my characters are female) are just running around trying to level.  I won't really get anything done with that, podcats or kdrama today.  I am still working on the shawl but I'm slow, I need to speed up a bit.  Other that that I think everything is going well so far this summer.  See you next time.

Tuesday, June 10, 2014

This is the only knitting I have done.  It's the test knit so I can't really show anything else till the pattern is released.  I don't really have any other pictures so I don't know what I'll post. next time The yarn it BFL from The Painted Tiger.

At the end of this I will post a picture of my bibimbap in case you aren't familiar with it.   There is rice on the bottom then cooked and seasoned vegetables and meat laid out nicely with an egg on top.  Mine came with some sort of broth and some red stuff that I didn't use.  Mine got a little cold waiting for my husband. It wasn't what I was expecting (I don't know what I was expecting) but it was still good... except for the mushrooms. That was a texture thing.  Wile the carrots and radish got crispy the mushroom got mushy and it felt like I was eating a slug or something.  I wasn't feeling the best that day so the next day I got kind of a craving for it so I could try it again when I was feeling better.

Yesterday I took the kids to the Quad City Botanical Center. Last year when we went they had a tropical green house, some giant koi fish and some flowers outside so I didn't expect to be there long.  What I didn't know is that they had opened a whole new children's section that had a 3" deep river for the kids to play in.  Next time we go I will be better prepared an bring some sunscreen at least.  I did bring my knitting but I forgot my camera. My son got a mimosa plant that he has been wanting since last year (it moves when you brush against it) and my daughter got a jade plant (it said gollum on the label but when I looked it up it had different names).

We did get our housework and homework done and even went out side for a bit.  There were no electronics on (for the kids) till after 3:00 and the TV didn't go on till after supper. I count that as a success. I did play some WOW and plan to play more today.  I worked on my 90's.  The one that is working on "Loremaster" has finished seventy-five of the ninety quests to finish the area.  The one that just turned 90 worked on leveling her fishing from 9 to 150.  It's rainy here so the kids aren't going outside today but they are reading right now (they were bribed) so that's good.  I'll see you next time.

Monday, June 9, 2014

This really isn't going to have much knitting content. It's mostly just going to talk about our weekend trip to my sister's (E) wedding.  Wednesday I watched  Kdrama but I'll save any talk of that till another day. Saturday after we got back I watched some podcasts but there was nothing that sticks out.  I'll probably do less of both with the kids home.

So we left Thursday morning after we had doughnuts.  It's about a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive.  When we got there I saw my some of my family and sat for a bit.  Shortly after that we (me, sister B, sister R and our girl children) went to E's house and started putting together her bouquets and boutonnieres.  The picture at the top is R making E's bouquet. All the flowers were orange.  It was fun to work on this with all the sisters.

After that we (my family) ran through McDonald's for supper (the kids hadn't really eaten all day) then headed to the rehearsal.  The wedding was in someone's back yard that was about three blocks for where this picture was taken.  After the rehearsal we went back to E's for the rehearsal dinner.   Finally back to my mom's where we were staying.  I stayed up way to late talking to my family, rag rolling my hair, and doing nails.

The next morning my daughter, my sister B and her daughter all went to E's house with all the rest of the girls for hair and make up.  Most of the other sisters were there already and R was in charge of pictures (she got some really good ones). The wedding was at 4:00 and the weather was perfect.  We had to move our car but most of the bridal party walked from the wedding to the receprion.

The reception was pretty good.  They had cupcakes that were really good.  We aren't much of a drinking and dancing family so there was no drinking and little dancing.  The view of the city was wonderful though.  All of my aunts on my mom's side came and some of my cousins that I hadn't seen in about twenty years.  I feel a little like a bad person because I didn't really want to see them.  Not because I don't like them but because I'm not good with people and I don't really like where I am in my life right now (the short version of the weirdness in my head).  I spent most of the reception chasing after my niece, J, because both her mother and father had been given jobs and there was no one to watch her.  By the time we got back to my mom's it was after 9 pm and I was way over tired

We left my mom's about 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and made a stop by Mitsuwa.  I was unfortunately not feeling well from staying up too late and not drinking enough water so we didn't get to stay long.  I had some bibimbap for the first time.  My husband had ramen and my Amey had sushi.  Sadly my son refused to eat anything and got McDonald's at a rest stop later.  We bought some Japanese candy and then headed home because I wasn't feeling the best and everyone else was tired.  We need to go back when we have more chance to look around because there are some things I really want to get.

I guess that's about it.  Lots of things that have nothing to do with knitting (I didn't finish the shawl).  I think tomorrow will be back to a normal post.  In general we had fun and we are home safe and sound.  If I get a chance I will probably play WOW today and work on the test knit that has to be done by the 28th.  I hope you were at least a little amused by this post.  Have a nice day.

Wednesday, June 4, 2014

Here is the red and black shawl.  It doesn't look like much and I won't get it done in time. I will bring it to work on wile we are out of town and my project will match my outfit for the wedding.  According to the pattern I could stop now but I want it lots bigger.  I'm also supposed to start a test knit on Monday.  It looks simple enough, she would like it done before the 28th so I should be good.  I don't want to take it with me because I want to be able to concentrate on it.

Yesterday was a podcast day.  Coffee with Stacey talked about cameras which was interesting.  Mostly I'm just listening to a lot of Knit 1 Heart Too.  Sadly my computer was acting up and cut out during an episode so I will have to go back and find out where I left off.  Nothing new with poddcasts, just having fun feeling like you have some company when you work on projects.

I got a view from Canada.  I don't remember if I have had one from there before.  Since I'm going to my sister's wedding I won't be blogging for a few days.  We will be leaving tomorrow and wile I will have internet access I want to spend time with my family.  There are so many of us this will be the first time we are all together in about four years. We should be back on Saturday but I might be too tired to blog then.  I'm hoping for some good stories and pictures.  That's it for today.  See you next time.  :)

Tuesday, June 3, 2014

I forgot about this blanket.  This is the one I made for my husband's coworker.  I think I said I had finished it. It has it's little gift bag and is ready to go once my husband sees his coworker.  Other than that I'm working on the shawl.  It's going slower than I hoped.  If worse comes to worse that's the project I'll be working on during the reception.  You know I have to bring something.

Yesterday I watched kdrama.  That Winter... is interesting.  It's about a guy pretending to be a blind girls brother so he can get money.  The thing is as it goes along he starts to fall in love with her which is kind of weird.  We know they are not siblings but some of the scenes are really weird in an incest kind of way.  On the other hand there is a kind of art to some of the shots that is really interesting.  I'm just over halfway done. I'll ask the kdrama girls on Raverlry if I should watch You're the Best Lee Soon Shin or Man From Another Star next.

I tried another experiment with my hair for my sisters wedding.  The first time I braided it and it poofed out like Hermione from the first movie Harry Potter movie.  This time I "rag rolled" my hair and it turned out fairly well.  My hair wasn't 100% dry when I took it down but I'm not cruel enough to walk the kids to the bus with it rolled.  Also I didn't put any product in it and I will for the actual wedding.  I will adjust the amount of hair in each curl a little too.  I figure if it turns out horrid someone is bound to have a flat iron.  I'm hoping for some nice pictures from the wedding.  I think that's it on this beautiful day.  I'll see you next time.

Monday, June 2, 2014

Here is the June picture.  I actually didn't do it yesterday so we did it just now.  Saturday got crazy so here is a couple days worth of blogging.

Friday I finished Personal Taste.  It was sappy and cheesy with a lot of predictability. That's not necessarily a bad thing it's just not quite as good, in my opinion, as The King of Dramas.  The male lead, Jeon Jin Ho (played by Lee Min Ho), is the president of a tiny architecture firm that is on the brink of failing because of the back room dealing of the big bad firm.  The big bad firm is headed by Jin Ho's father's former business partner, who took over unscrupulously and caused Jin Ho's father's death.  Our female lead is Park Kae In.  She is a klutzy, tom boy of a girl who whats to be a furniture designer like her deceased mother was.  She has financial problems and wants to rent out a room in the house her dad (a famous architect) built.  Jin Ho finds out that this building is loved by someone who has a major project coming up that could save his business. Wile he is trying to find a way in he finds out she is renting a room and through a series of misunderstandings she thinks he's gay so she thinks it will be o.k. Queue the misunderstanding, accidentally seeing each other in the bathroom, and eventually falling in love.  The first few episodes seem kind of bumbling like our leading lady but as her character grows the show smooths out.  I liked it but it's not the best one out there.  Now I'm watching That Winter... exclusively.

On Saturday I did a lot of running around and errands.  We got pretty much everything we need for my sister's wedding.  I ran my friend around too.  I think between 9 and 6 I was home for about an hour and a half.  I did get to play some WOW.  I got my panda out of Borean Tundra and on to the next area.  My hunter is now in Blade's Edge.  My little dwarf on the other server is almost level 10.

Sunday I listened to podcasts.  I had another episode of  Homespun House and lots of Knit 1 Heart Too.  I'm up to 2013 now so I'm almost caught up.  I was making a blanket for PRR but wasn't thinking and it's way to small for their requirements.  I'll donate it somewhere else and I started a snug sack.  I'm using the divine hat pattern and just not stopping.  I think that has us finally caught up.  I got back to where I know I was right with the count on my shawl and am starting again.  I don't know if I can make it by the wedding , it will be a race.  Not that I really need a shawl since the weather is supposed to be nice. I feel like there was more to say but that's a lot so I'll end here for now and add anything else next time.  Bye!
