This is the "Double Bump Dishcloth" by Missy Angus, it's free on Ravelry. I really liked it. It took me a minute to get what was going on but once I did it was really easy. I'm not sure if I like this one better or the "Easy Crochet Dishcloth." I was using these as waiting room knitting but the next one is a little more complicated so I may use the "Hitchhiker" as my easy knitting.
On Saturday I finished Knitting in Circles and joined the group. Wile I was still in the middle of Knitting in Circles I got and invitation to The Giving Flower so that's the one I started. She lives in Germany and has two children. Of all the podcasts I've listened to she seems the most similar to me. She and her two children seem to be just a little older than me and my children. I am jealous though. She works and still seem to find time to make cookies and thing with her kids, also her children knit and sew. I have tried to teach my children all the things I know but they aren't really interested. Over the summer I tend to have my children go to "school" and I'm going to include sewing in that. Since she is in Germany she includes a German word related to knitting. I don't remember any of them but the one for colorful. I'm not going to try to spell it here because I'll mess it up. The Giving Flower only has thirty four episodes and they are short so I should be able to catch up quickly.
Yesterday I watch Running Man. It was o.k. but it really changes from episode to episode if it's funny or not. It's not quite as bad as in the beginning when they had long boring games and I was just waiting for the name tag ripping game. I think I'm on episode 167.
I worked on my husbands sleeves. At last count they were about 12" so I'm still two weeks behind. Today I'm going to work on my daughter's socks. I'm so close I might as well finish them. Tomorrow I'll work on my husband's sleeves again. The "Hitchhiker" has 32 teeth so it's possible that I will have it done this week.
Now for some random things. My Pandora station is so confused. It assumes you are listening based on a style of music. With my Korean and Japanese stations I am not looking for a style but a country. My husband is home this week because he's working overnights. He's sleeping right now so I'm trying to be quite. I've been doing my exercises on Monday and Wednesday but having trouble with Friday, that's what I'm working next. I think that's it for today. :)
Saturday, March 29, 2014
I still think the "Hitchhiker" looks like a dragon tail or something. At last count it had 30 teeth so I'm almost finished. It finally started pooling about the 28th tooth and now it's stopping. I should finish it in the next two weeks.
I really didn't do anything yesterday but watch Running Man and enter my hat in Nerd Wars. Today is podcast day and working on the sleeves of my husband's sweater. At last measurement it was 8". Since I kind of skipped a day working on the sweater I'll work on it tomorrow as well. After that I just might be able to finish up my daughter's sock. I really need to get some things off the needles because I have so many new ideas.
My exercising might be paying off finally. The scale seemed lower today than it has been. I may be getting close to getting a new dress. It's so had to tell because I have to lean forward to see the numbers and that changes them. I figure if I lean forward the same every time it should work out the same.
I think I am going to turn off my WOW for right now. It will save us a little money each month and I'm just not playing. I'll get back to it eventually especially when the new expansion comes out. That's it for today I think, I should have mor progress after the weekend.

I finished this hat in two days. I should have worked on my husband's sweater but I was so close to finishing that I just wanted it done. It was quicker and easier than I thought. I did discover I'm not a big fan of beanies. It's not blocked so It has a funny little point on it.
O.k. yesterday's post was kind of pathetic, I'm sorry. I haven't really done any crafting today either. Tomorrow I plan to listen to podcasts and work a lot on my husband's sweater. I did finish a wash cloth and since I finished some things I need to do a couple of rounds on my daughter's socks. This hat got entered in the Epic Kal/Cal from Skein after Skein and if I can think of anything in the next couple of hours I will enter it in Nerd Wars.
I watched some Running Man and in one of the episodes Gary kissed Ji Hyo. I couldn't believe it. I have a hard time believing that Gary doesn't have real feeling for her. I know it could be the editing but it's just a hundred little things that makes me think so. I watched that episode with Amey because not only is Ji Hyo the princes,s three of the members of Big Bang are in it. G-Dragon looks like such a fun person when he smiles.
My friend decided to wait and keep looking for a sewing machine so we aren't having any adventures that way. My husband will be working over night this week so that may mess up my schedule. My sister, L, is planning to visit in two week or so. I think the only other thing is that I will finish up Knitting in Circles tomorrow so I will need a new podcast. I'll try and get back on my regular schedule.

The point of skipping yesterday was so I would post this morning. I ended up not so now it's not again. I was going to post a picture of a half finished hat but it's finished so I'll post it tomorrow. This is not a thought out post just a guilt post so I can say I didn't skip two days. Hopefully I'll have a lot to say tomorrow. Sorry

This looks like a bit of mess and my camera wasn't working well (I think I was trying to do it fast and wiggling). I have a little over 7".
I'm posting late because I posted so late yesterday I didn't have anything to say in the morning. After a bit of a late start I listened to podcasts and worked on the sweater. I think, because I can, I will cast on a hat tomorrow. I want to get the hats that match the scarves done so they can all be put away together. I don't know if I should hold my breath on putting things away since it snowed last night. I'm over the snow. On another note I did contact an Etsy seller to ask if they could make a tie for my son. Technically I could do it but I don't want to. She is only going to charge $10 since it's my fabric. Granted the fabric was $8 and there will be shipping so it will be over the $17 that she sells it for.
I tried to post Mooky's pillow for Nerd Wars and had trouble. I usually upload my pictures to Flikr and use the properties to post it on Ravelry. I did that for some other "finished object" threads last night but this morning they have changed things and I can't figure it out. I posted the challenge without pictures and included a note that the the pictures were on my project page and I would add them if I figured out how. I feel a little dumb right now. I'll figure it out but it might take me a bit.
I think that's it. I feel bad ending with my Flikr frustration but I don't have anything else to say. Tomorrow I have more appointments so I don't know what I'll get done. Hopefully I'll have a lot of progress on something.

The fire ice cream pillow is done!!! I'm so glad it's finished and he really likes is. One more pillow and I'll be done with these forever! It's not a bad pattern I'm just tired of it. My daughter took this picture.
Apparently posting at night seems to be becoming a habit. The weekend was uneventful. I watched some Running Man, listened to some podcasts and worked on projects. I worked on the sleeves for my husband's sweater but I think I'm only up to 6" and I need about 24". I messed up on the sleeves as well. One of the sleeves will be a tad longer than the other because I put in an extra row instead of going to the other sleeve. I'll finish it but I don't think it will be before the end of April. I worked a little on the hitchhiker, a wash rag, and made another round on my daughter's sock (remember that?). Tomorrow I plan to put in some time on my husband's sleeves.
I went to my friend's house again to help her with her sewing machine. The first problem was that I can't find a manual on line for free. Maybe I'm not putting in the right search terms but everything I find is from $5-$15. I threaded it as best as I could but I could be doing it wrong. The second problem is the tension. I tried to adjust the tension but it is way to tight. Part of the problem is it doesn't seem to be sitting in the tension nob right and I don't know how to fix it. It might be something else. She was fiddling with the nobs and I'm not 100% sure what they all do. She was trying to sew with the tension like that and it kept snapping the thread. I have to figure out how to get that tension looser or she is going to get frustrated and give up. More yarn and sewing adventures next time.

The sleeve cuffs cam out fine. It was a lot easier to do this ribbing than it was to do the one on the bottom of the sweater. The rest of the sleeve seems to be taking much longer. I don't know why but the pattern seems to be more fiddly than it was for the back. I really don't think I will finish in time. Twice I got the yarns mixed up and knit the sleeves together so now I'm being very, very careful.
Yesterday was just a weird sort of day where nothing happened but nothing got done. My husband has had some weird 5 am till 2 pm shifts and it makes us all tired. I know he works way harder than I do but I also hear the alarm and sometimes can't get back to sleep. I will be glad when his schedule gets back to normal (for us).
Today didn't go as planned (that's why I'm posting so late) but in a good way. My sister called and said she would be in the area and could she come over. We got a little visit and I gave my niece her very late Christmas present. I still didn't have her birthday present done yet. After she left we watched a movie (on DVD) as a family, which is something we don't do often. So now it's late and I actually have time to write.
My husband was very sweet and brought me home the pink and brown that I was missing to finish the ice cream pillow. Now they both have pink scoops and one has a chocolate scoop. Today I am sewing together my son's ice cream pillow but I'm not sure I'll finish it. I did get a little done on my Hitchhiker wile we watched the movie. I think I'm up to 23 teeth.
So my friend (without me) found a sewing machine at Good Will for $25 (great deal). It’s a White model 614, it's very heavy and is a in a table. It seems fine to me but there are two things that might be a problem. 1) it is a knee pedal not a foot pedal. At some point it fell out of it’s space and I couldn't figure out how to get it back in. It looks like it slides but there didn't seem to be enough room to get it to slide back in. 2) with the way the bobbin is it feels tight (to me) to change it. I was just looking and trying it quickly so there may be a trick to it. Hopefully she will like it and when/if she can get the knee pedal figured out I can talk to her about sewing. It came with some bobbins and she was asking about them. She thought they unscrewed to get the thread on and off. When I said no she looked at me with horror thinking she had to wind it on. I told her the machine will do it and she said “even one this old?” I assured her that I had an older one and it could do it. I need to go look up a manual so I can see how to thread it. This should be an adventure.

Here is the back of the sweater blocking. I feel like I had to stretch it like crazy to get it to 23" and it was suposed to be 24.5". It also seemed to be stretcher up than out. I think with this information I will be making the bigger size for the front, especially when my husband likes things on the baggy side. The sleeves seem to be going well. I almost have the 2.5" of ribbing done. It went much smoother and faster than the ribbing on the bottom of the sweater. I may actually catch up.
I tried to make a new scoop on the ice cream pillow but I realized I'm out of the dark, chocolate color. I decided to do the other pink scoop and half way through the final row I ran out. So I'm going back to the sleeves. If I can't get more yarn then I will sew my son's pillow together. I want to make so many more things. I need more arms to make them all at once. There is a designer who is getting married and in honor of that she gave away her patterns for free, about $200 worth. She has socks, sweaters, and cowls and I want to make ,most of them. I need not to start any more projects.
It was fun to listen to a bunch of podcasts yesterday. It really feels like sitting with friends. There were some Knitting Pipeline recaps. I'm really going to try to make it to that next year. Skein After Skein asked what are our top five yarns. It's a fun question to think about. I listed what what yarns I had the most fun knitting with since there are many different ways you can define "favorite" (work horse, softest etc.) Here is my list, they are Ravelry links so if you don't have an account they might not work.
1) Araucania Huasco
2) Wishfox lace
3) The Painted Tiger Panda
4) Yarn I have spun myself
5) Berroco Comfort
That's it for today.

This is the "toy train" setting on the camera. I think it looks really neat but the color is wrong. That "pink" is really more of a peachy, coral color. This is the Highland Handmade yarn and it's being made into another "Hitchhiker." Sadly this was about the only thing that got worked on wile I was reading Franklin Habit's blog.
I finished reading the blog and got in a little Running Man. Haha has his hair blond and I don't really like it. He is a funny guy but his constant fear of many things (like heights) makes him appear whiny sometimes. I think Gary and Kwang Soo are my favorites right now. Some of the members just seem irritating from time to time. Maybe I need to take a break and actually watch "drama" and not "variety." I probably won't though. Today I will be watching podcasts. I probably won't play WOW for a wile. I feel so behind and I can't play and craft.
I finished the cone on my son's ice cream pillow and the back of my husband's sweater is soaking. I cast on for the sleeves and did one row. Hopefully this will be faster because once again I am at least two weeks behind where I feel like I should be. Today was also my nieces's birthday and I don't even have half of her pillow done. I should be able to get a bunch done wile listening to the podcasts.
I found out that a teacher I had in high school died. I thought he was a good teacher if not more that a little crazy. I figure you would have to be crazy for teaching inner city high school. He died in October but there is some sort of memorial or candle light vigil for him on Sunday. One of my classmates put a note on face book and it was really interesting to see names I haven't seen in twenty years on the list of others the note was sent to. I kind of want to reconnect with them but we weren't all that close to begin with.
I don't want to end this on a sad not so I will say that my kids are doing well on their school work and at least the snow is gone. Hopefully next time I can be more cheerful.

Here is the back of the sweater. It's still not blocked but I held it up stretched out to my husband's back and it seems like it might be o.k. Even if the measurements turn out right I may still make the larger size for the front since he like s to wear his clothes looser than the pattern. I still haven't started the sleeves. It's not as pink as it looks in the picture.
I'm still reading Franklin Habit's blog. I admit I'm skimming some, they just aren't my thing. He does the most beautiful lace work and his thoughts on some things are very interesting. I'm up to 2011 and as he jets around more doing classes he doesn't write as much so I am hoping to be done today and I can go back to Running Man and/or podcasts.
I have been thinking about my camera. It's such a step up from what I had that I was thinking of it as something with more adjustments and wondering why it wasn't doing what I wanted. I also need to keep in mind that photographers take lots of pictures but only some are shown. I'm sure for every one that I see and "oh that's nice" there are a least ten that don't make the cut. There are also things like tripods and lighting that I don;t have that make a big difference. I need to be patient and take lots more pictures and figure out how to get what I want.
Kids are home and so far we are doing fairly well with school work. Amey is writing a story based on inspiration from a paint chip and Mooky is working on double digit addition with carrying (I think they call it "regrouping" now). I was hoping they could play outside but it's a bit overcast so we'll see. It took forever to get them up and moving today so tomorrow I will get them up a little earlier. I don't want them to get to far off the school schedule. It's time for Mooky to practice his shoe tying and Amey to work on her multiplication facts so I will end here and try to have some progress for you tomorrow.

Oh look one more ice cream scoop, aren't you excited?
Friday was as errand day so the time just got away from me and I didn't blog. The excuse for Saturday was that I didn't have any pictures. Wile this is true, the biggest detriment to my crafting has been the discovery of Franklin Habit's blog.
Of course like any good crafter on Ravelry I'd heard of him but I didn't pay too much attention. In one of the group someone linked to a little cartoon he drew about penguin sweaters (I'm not going to explain the penguin sweaters). The cartoon was on his blog and I noticed he's from Chicago. Since I miss Chicago I wanted to read what he had to say. It seems he moved to Chicago about the same time I left. Of course because I'm crazy I started reading form the beginning and am reading them in chronological order. He's been writing for a wile so it's taking some time. The biggest problem is I can't craft and read at the same time. He is an absolutely excellent writer. I love the way he words thing and his stories about his imaginary sheep roommate are hysterical. I think I'm about half way through at this point.
My other "problem" right now it that the kids are on Spring break. It did make my morning easier but the rest is a little harder. I love my kids I really do but sometimes my daughter begging for ice cream and my son whining that he can't play on this or that device gets to me. My plan for summer is to be out of the house and on the go as much as possible to combat that. You can also list me with the other mean mothers of the wold since I did make them do some school work this morning. It's good for them and any practice Amey can get on her multiplication facts and Mooky on his reading is a good thing. They have done everything I have asked and can now go outside but none of the other kids are out so we are watching Spirited Away. Maybe I will have more progress tomorrow.

This is supposed to be a "grandma's favorite dishcloth" but it turned out weird. I didn't even weave in the ends. I really disliked the "knit two together" on the thick cotton. I don't think I'll make another.
I got the ice cream scoop done and worked on the sweater. I measured about 1/2" left on the back of the sweater and I made a mistake I couldn't leave. It was a cable row and I had cabled wrong. I tried to drop down and fix it but, wile I fixed where the cable went, it was horribly twisted and just didn't look right. So I'm tinking back. It's only three or so rows. I'll work on it today wile I watch Running Man. I think I really need to finish that before I can get back to Let's Eat.
I am up to episode 105 for Knitting in Circles. Nothing else really interesting about that. Not to say that Amiee and Daren are not interesting but there was just no new information.
I finished the second book in the Parasol Protectorate series. Now I'm reading Tears of the Giraffe. That was a bit of a mental switch. I am reading them slowly on purpose so I can make it last longer. Also before bed I started another hitchhiker. I wanted to make a different pattern but the yarn didn't go with it. It's realy relaxing because it's so easy. I think that's it for today. I lead such an exciting life, right?
Wednesday, March 12, 2014
This is the point at which my daughter says it looks like a cow. I don't think I'm going to finish it by my nieces birthday and if I do I won't make it to the post office. Since I'm doing these four back to back I don't think I'll want to make another one for a long time.
I didn't really do anything yesterday except rest my arm. I did watch Running Man and watched one of the episodes with my daughter. I thought she would like the superhero episode and she did but I expected it to be funnier. I also am not a fan when they bring guests in at the end. I really need to get back to more dramas and less variety but it could be a wile. Today is a podcast day and since no one has really updated since last time I will be watching a lot of Knitting in Circles.
Part of the reason I didn't get anything done yesterday was I had an unplanned adventure. I got a call from my daughter wile she was at school because the appliance in her mouth was falling out. I got her in to see the orthodontist and they fixed it but that was time out of my day that I wasn't expecting. It did however provide some snuggle time wile we watched Running Man.
I've been feeling like I should bring my camera with me more. Maybe it's because I have a new camera but I kind of see things differently. I see interesting things and think, "that would make a neat picture, I wish I had my camera one me." I have been having good luck with my finished objects but not so much with landscape. I know that my eye is much more awesome than a camera but with a nicer camera I assumed the difference would be smaller. I need to practice more to get a better idea of how to make the camera see what I see. I also need to learn about post processing. It seems you just can't take pictures anymore you have to adjust them in something like Photoshop. Somehow that makes me a little sad and I'm not sure why. If any of the pictures turn out like I would like I'll post some of them here. I think that's all of my ramblings for today :)

I know this picture doesn't really have something in it for scale but it make me think I'm making a turtle neck. It has a ton of stretch because of the cables but still it doesn't look like it will fit. I have about two inches then I'll block it and see what needs to be done. I've been working so hard on this and other things I've been having soreness in my arm.
I've been working on a piece of the ice cream pillow then working on the sweater. I do about one row on the red shawl before bed and I have a wash cloth in my bag for waiting rooms. I feel like I'm not getting anything done. Some might say I need to concentrate on one thing and finish it then I will feel like I've made progress. The problem is I am so tired of these projects I want to cast on something else so badly. I have the yarn for another shawl and socks caked and ready to go not to mention the rest of the yarn from the scarves to make matching hats. I'm trying not to go crazy.
I listened to podcasts yesterday. It's almost time for the Knitting Pipeline retreat so I'm a little sad. Maybe I can go next year. Other than than it's just comforting to feel like I'm sitting with a friend wile I work on a project. Today I plan to watch Running Man and maybe get around to watching Let's Eat.
I feel like there was something else I wanted to say. I had a paragraph all planned out in my head but it's gone. If I remember it later I'll write it next time.
Monday, March 10, 2014
Magically another scoop appears! Just the cone and the sewing together left. I'm sure my son will be happy with it but I will be happy to be done with it.
Over the weekend I listened to podcasts and watched Running Man. I worked a lot on my husband's sweater. I'm up to 24" at last count. The cables are really pulling it tight so it looks tiny. It was suggested that I block it and see how big it really is. I'll do that and start working on the sleeves wile I think about what to do about the front. I was thinking of going up a size for that but we will wait for the numbers to come in.
I remember laughing so hard at Running Man that I started to cough but I don't remember why now. I think it's funny some of the things that aren't games. There was a water challenge and a towel had gotten soaked and was heavy. Jae Suk threw it at Kwang Soo and he fell over from the weight. Then other members didn't believe it was that heavy and wanted it thrown at their head. I was also amused by the "figure out what food we rubbed on your ear" game. Who thinks of these things. I'm listening to podcasts today.
Today the weather is beautiful and gives me hope. On the down side it's really muddy. I think that's it for now, see you next time.
Saturday, March 8, 2014
I need a better way to take pictures. Here is one half of the fire ice cream done. I'm working on the second red scoop today.
I almost forgot to write today. Spring pictures, at the school, are supposed to be on Wednesday so we got the kids haircuts today. Today I'm working on the ice cream (like I said) and listening to podcasts.
Yesterday I worked on my husband's sweater. I feel like I made progress but I haven't measured it lately. I took it with me to the knit night at the yarn store. It was better than last time but I still feel like people don't know things that should be clear or easy. I think some of it is I kind of get down on my self and think I don't know much so when someone else knows less than me I'm surprised. I almost brought wine home (they had left overs) but they had accidentally thrown away the cork and I didn't think driving with open liquor was a good idea (especially across state lines). I told my husband when I got home and he said, "What kind of stitch and bitch has wine?" A good one I think.
Running Man was o.k. nothing that jumps out really. Oh there was one thing, there was a game where you had to do an activity to get a clue (like sit ups or jumping jacks) and Ji Hyo got a funny one. She had to shout out the name of someone she loved then write their name with her butt. She picked her mother but of course Gary had to come around when she was doing it and when she shouted "I love you," he said "Thanks." When there are more kpop stars as guest (that my daughter knows) I'll watch the episode with her.
I forgot to tell you I saw two robins on Wednesday. This means spring is coming. It felt really nice yesterday but today is kind of gloomy. My getting healthy plan was side tracked by girl scout cookies. That's not good but I can recover. We have a time change tonight. I really hate the idea, it feels so outdated to me. They need to put it back to the way it was and leave it alone. No one is going to listen to me though. I feel like I had something else to say but I can't remember so it must not be important, right? See you next time.
Friday, March 7, 2014
The sock is getting longer, the end is in sight. The heel is making pictures hard. Socks look better with feet in them anyway. I really wish I had know about the yarn overs when I started this, then you could really see the pattern. Even though I know it now I can't change in the middle.
I had a really hard day emotionally yesterday and again didn't get anything done. I'm glad today is kind of normal so I can get back on schedule. I think I only watched two podcasts and didn't get much done on the sweater yesterday. I did get the sleeve shaping done though. I feel like it will be to small. I really got gauge but it still seems small. If it doesn't fit I'll make him another one some other day. I was worried about the 5X sweater too and it turned out bigger so who am I to know. I'm watching Running Man today.
I'm planning on going to the knit night tonight. Many Fridays I drive Kiki (if I didn't give her a name yet) around but she doesn't need me today so I can go. I did my exercises today and am finally feeling like if I push a little more it will actually make a difference as opposed to just maintenance. I tried to set up ar reward system. I'm not good at those so I hope this will work. I figure for every ten punds I can drop and keep off I can buy a new piece of clothing. With that as a motivation and the weather getting better maybe I can get healther before I turn 40. That's it for today.
Thursday, March 6, 2014
My dress for my sister's wedding came. My husband is not good at taking pictures. It's a little loose at the top but I'll wait till closer to the wedding then see if I should have it altered. It's a fun dress and even at almost forty I was spinning so the dress would swirl. Swirly dresses are important. The shoes are actually a dark red not black. The shawl will be the same design but red. I still need to figure out what to do with my hair and jewelry. My husband will wear all black with a red tie and socks. Now the only one who needs an outfit is my son. The dress if from eShakti. I was a little concerned when I saw it was shipping from India, I don't want to support anyone who doesn't pay their workers appropriately, but there is a comment on their about page on this issue. It basically say India has strict labor laws that they conform to, in terms of age of workers and pay, and they would not do things that were a human right violation. They could be lying but I have no proof otherwise so I may be buying more dresses from them in the future.
I hope no one reads this for WOW updates because I don't think I'll play much for now. Yesterday I had an errand, inconveniently, in the middle of the day so I didn't get much done with anything. Minimal house work, no exercise, no laundry. I didn't do much in the way of crafting either. I watched Running Man and worked on my husband's sweater. The episodes of Running Man were o.k. but not fall down funny. They had a basketball player on and it was interesting to see someone taller than Kwang Soo. I really wonder about Gary some times. He really seems to push the "Monday couple" thing. It's hard to tell where he's playing because it really seems like he's at least a little serious. Today I'm going to listen to podcasts.
For the knitting I only got a tiny bit done. I couldn't find my cable needle so I bought more. This new one seem a little better in most of it's ease of use. It seems easier to slip stitches and knit back off of it. The size might be a tiny bit smaller too. The thing that's harder is it has a ribbed section in the middle, I assume to keep the yarn from slipping, that makes it more difficult to get the yarn form one side if the needle to the other. I think I have 16" but I want to go maybe a half an inch more. As long as I remember and do the same thing on the front it should be fine. I'm going to keep working on the sweater today since I din't get to work on it much yesterday. I started the red shawl as my bed time knitting. Once you get it set up the the main part of the shawl is very easy. The border is harder but it will be a wile before I get there. It's made from hand spun and I am crocheting straight off the spindle. Not my best idea but I think it will be fine once it's blocked. It think I over spin a bit, that and the fact the other shawl is made from silk yarn the red shawl feel really rough. I'll put conditioner in the water when I soak it as part of the blocking process.
It snowed again yesterday and today is supposed to be in the thirties. I'm a tiny bit concerned about flooding. Not us so much but others, I have a lot of compassion. By Monday it's supposed to be in the 50's. I can't wait. Just what you always wated, a discussion on the weather. Talk to you later.

This is the progress on my husband's sweater so far. I still have a long way to go. I haven't been working on it either, which isn't good.
1500 views! My page views settled down. I don't know how or why I was getting a 100 views in a weekend at first. This is more like what I expected (actually more than I expected) with 100 views in a month.
I watched Running Man and worked on my daughter's sock yesterday. There was an episode where animal hats were used instead of name tags and it was really cute. I couldn't take Jong Kook seriously with a stuffed tiger on his head. Kwang Soo seems to be winning more lately. No WOW today either, I'll listen to podcasts.
I did finish the fourth repeat on Amey's sock. I'm up to 8 or 9 repeats and I need to get to 13 so the end is in sight. The plan for today is to put a cone on my son's ice cream pillow. My niece, J., has a birthday on the 18th and I don't think I will get her's done on time. I never sent her Christmas present either. If I finish the cone I will go back to working on my husband's sweater. I will feel like I'm making progress if I can start the sleeve shaping.
For my random thoughts today's is about fingerless gloves. I never really liked them or saw the point. For no real reason one day, after the disappointment with the other gloves, I put the pair of figerless gloves I made over some magic streatch gloves. I really liked the results. It was warmer than I expected and I could still get my hands in my pockets. This has future application. As a side note why is the computer telling me I wrote "fingerless" wrong? I know my spelling is bad but I really think I got this one right. Also it's warming up a tiny bit (out of the negative numbers). Yeah!

Here is the completed caramel pillow. I didn't realize that picture was so blurry. I think I stuffed it better this time.
I had no crafting mojo yesterday morning. I did get some as the day went on but it was not easy. I got three repeats on my daughters sock. I want to finish one more then I'll get back to the fire pillow.
I listened to podcasts instead of playing WOW yesterday. I'm just not in a WOW mood. I should have played today but I'm watching Running Man instead. I'm just not leading an exciting life right now. Part of the reason I don't have any mojo is because most of the projects I'm working on right now are taking a long time and not that fun. I really want to cast on something new but I don't need another project on the needles (hook).
I have been doing my exercises so that's a start. My knee is still sore but seems o.k. It snowed again and I can't seem to get my son's boot dry. I'll have to try again. It's a bit warmer and the snow is melting again. I'm definitely ready for spring.

March 1st! I still can't seem to get the horizon line right. Since I have my nice new camera my son got my old one. He took some interesting pictures of branches. My daughter took a picture of an old nest and some sort of mushroom on the side of a tree.
I know I'm posting really late compared to when I usually post. I didn't really get anything done yesterday in terms of WOW or crafting. I did drive my friend around. Sadly she didn't buy a machine but plans to next week. I did tell her that fabric was sold in yards (usually) not feet and showed her how to count on the bolt to get an idea if there was enough for what she wanted.
Today Mooky had a birthday party. It was the first one he had been invited to with out Amey. It was at a skating rink which was really hard. He was so unsteady on the carpet and was hanging on me on the actual rink. I didn't put skates on and he still managed to trip me. That was embarrassing and now my knee is sore. By the end he was more steady on the carpet but I think skating is not his thing. He preferred the game room where he could win ticket. Needless to say I got nothing done today either. I'm going to watch some Running Man and see if I can get some repeats done Amey's sock. Nothing much here. Hopefully I will have a more interesting post on Monday.
