My dress for my sister's wedding came.  My husband is not good at taking pictures. It's a little loose at the top but I'll wait till closer to the wedding then see if I should have it altered.  It's a fun dress and even at almost forty I was spinning so the dress would swirl. Swirly dresses are important. The shoes are actually a dark red not black.  The shawl will be the same design but red.  I still need to figure out what to do with my hair and jewelry.  My husband will wear all black with a red tie and socks.  Now the only one who needs an outfit is my son.  The dress if from eShakti.  I was a little concerned when I saw it was shipping from India, I don't want to support anyone who doesn't pay their workers appropriately, but there is a comment on their about page on this issue.  It basically say India has strict labor laws that they conform to, in terms of age of workers and pay, and they would not do things that were a human right violation.  They could be lying but I have no proof otherwise so I may be buying more dresses from them in the future.

I hope no one reads this for WOW updates because I don't think I'll play much for now. Yesterday I had an errand, inconveniently, in the middle of the day so I didn't get much done with anything.  Minimal house work, no exercise, no laundry.  I didn't do much in the way of crafting either.  I watched Running Man and worked on my husband's sweater. The episodes of Running Man were o.k. but not fall down funny.  They had a basketball player on and it was interesting to see someone taller than Kwang Soo.  I really wonder about Gary some times.  He really seems to push the "Monday couple" thing.  It's hard to tell where he's playing because it really seems like he's at least a little serious.  Today I'm going to listen to podcasts.

For the knitting I only got a tiny bit done.  I couldn't find my cable needle so I bought more. This new one seem a little better in most of it's ease of use. It seems easier to slip stitches and  knit back off of it.  The size might be a tiny bit smaller too.  The thing that's harder is it has a ribbed section in the middle, I assume to keep the yarn from slipping, that makes it more difficult to get the yarn form one side if the needle to the other.  I think I have 16" but I want to go maybe a half an inch more.  As long as I remember and do the same thing on the front it should be fine.  I'm going to keep working on the sweater today since I din't get to work on it much yesterday.  I started the red shawl as my bed time knitting.  Once you get it set up the the main part of the shawl is very easy.  The border is harder but it will be a wile before I get there. It's made from hand spun and I am crocheting straight off the spindle.  Not my best idea but I think it will be fine once it's blocked.  It think I over spin a bit, that and the fact the other shawl is made from silk yarn the red shawl feel really rough.  I'll put conditioner in the water when I soak it as part of the blocking process.

It snowed again yesterday and today is supposed to be in the thirties.  I'm a tiny bit concerned about flooding. Not us so much but others, I have a lot of compassion.  By Monday it's supposed to be in the 50's. I can't wait.  Just what you always wated, a discussion on the weather.  Talk to you later.
