This is the "toy train" setting on the camera. I think it looks really neat but the color is wrong. That "pink" is really more of a peachy, coral color. This is the Highland Handmade yarn and it's being made into another "Hitchhiker." Sadly this was about the only thing that got worked on wile I was reading Franklin Habit's blog.
I finished reading the blog and got in a little Running Man. Haha has his hair blond and I don't really like it. He is a funny guy but his constant fear of many things (like heights) makes him appear whiny sometimes. I think Gary and Kwang Soo are my favorites right now. Some of the members just seem irritating from time to time. Maybe I need to take a break and actually watch "drama" and not "variety." I probably won't though. Today I will be watching podcasts. I probably won't play WOW for a wile. I feel so behind and I can't play and craft.
I finished the cone on my son's ice cream pillow and the back of my husband's sweater is soaking. I cast on for the sleeves and did one row. Hopefully this will be faster because once again I am at least two weeks behind where I feel like I should be. Today was also my nieces's birthday and I don't even have half of her pillow done. I should be able to get a bunch done wile listening to the podcasts.
I found out that a teacher I had in high school died. I thought he was a good teacher if not more that a little crazy. I figure you would have to be crazy for teaching inner city high school. He died in October but there is some sort of memorial or candle light vigil for him on Sunday. One of my classmates put a note on face book and it was really interesting to see names I haven't seen in twenty years on the list of others the note was sent to. I kind of want to reconnect with them but we weren't all that close to begin with.
I don't want to end this on a sad not so I will say that my kids are doing well on their school work and at least the snow is gone. Hopefully next time I can be more cheerful.
